Nespresso wanted an entire website dedicated to managing its onboarding experience. New staff members needed to feel well-informed, well-supported and, of course, impressed with the clarity and quality of the platform that was to help them get oriented and take their first steps in the company.
Our job was to come up with a roadmap for this and to provide text, photos, videos and all manner of content to fill the pages of the so-called New Careers Website.

One particularly memorable moment during the whole project was the photo shoot with the marketing team. They had little time, we had little space and the preproduction (i.e. planning) had been a little skimpy, given the lack of availability all round. What had a good chance of being a tense, painful pass actually turned out to be a highly successful improv session amid much laughter, which even led the team to a new marketing idea. Meanwhile our photographer was climbing all over the furniture and ducking under tables to get the right angles and expressions.
The rest of the story was, as often with website design, a matter of using the fine tooth comb to make sure all T’s were crossed and I’s dotted. All in all it was a fine, successful project carried out in good spirits with a great team.
