Capturing texture, curves, form, shape, tone, lines and the very essence of the object is the fine art of art photography, at least in so far as three dimensional objects are concerned.
Sculptures are a prime example. This artist’s works of art were shot in the artist’s own studio with our photographer’s unique technique called multi-flash, which allows him to literally paint the desired light into the final shot during post-production. This requires playing around with a number of shots of the object, taken in different angles of light, so as to arrive at a coherent and compelling whole, which then turns out to be consummately more attractive than the original in a single set of lights.
