A year of celebration
The brief was to push the creative envelope as far as we could to produce something that had stand-out appeal and could be entered for creative awards. We were resolute in wanting to create a calendar that our client could send out to thank their own customers for their fidelity and trust during the year. The calendar had to display our creativity as an agency as well as generate positive word of mouth for all involved.
We hunted far and wide for some of the world’s wackiest celebrations and used detachable sticky swatches to engage the user. Did you know that World UFO Day falls on July 2nd? Did you also know that National Comic Book Day is on September 25th? These were just some of the dates highlighted in the calendar, which became a great success – in fact we even had to print a second batch as they became quite sought after.
